3-(1H-Benzo[d]imidazol-2-yl)-5-nitro-1-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)-1H-indazole (50 mg, 0.137 mmol) was added to 10% Pd/C (10 mg) in ethanol (40 mL) and then pressurized with hydrogen (60 psi) for 6 h at room temperature. The reaction mixture was filtered through Celite, and the solvent was removed in vacuo. Purification by flash chromatography (5% CH3OH/CH2Cl2) afforded the title compound in 60% yield. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CD3OD): δ 7.69 (m, 2H), 7.55 (m, 2H), 7.26 (m, 2H), 7.05 (m, 1H), 5.84 (d, 1H, J=9.2 Hz), 4.00 (m, 1H), 3.82 (m, 1H), 2.65 (m, 1H), 2.14 (m, 2H), 1.78 (m, 3H).
