5-Bromo-2-ethoxypyridin-3-amine (506 mg, 2.33 mmol) was treated with 4-hydroxy-3-methylbenzene-1-sulfonyl chloride (506 mg, 2.45 mmol, prepared as described at JP 47015818 B4 19720511) according to the method described in Preparation 15b to give 902 mg (100% yield) of the title compound as an oil. Purity 99%.
