3-Bromo-5-(difluoromethyl)aniline (876 mg, 3.95 mmol) was treated with methanesulfonyl chloride (458 μl, 5.92 mmol) according to the method described in Preparation 15b to give 1.24 g (100% yield) of the title compound. Purity 95%.
