To a solution of 3-chloro-5-(3,5-dimethylisoxazol-4-yl)-3-phenylindolin-2-one (50 mg, 0.15 mmol) in dioxane (2 mL) was added sodium acetate (90 mg, 1.1 mmol), the reaction mixture was stirred at 85° C. for 6 h and quenched by the addition of saturated ammonium chloride solution (10 mL). The organic layer was extracted with CH2Cl2 (2×20 mL). The combined organic layers was dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate and filtered. The filtrate was concentrated in vacuo to afford crude product, ant it was purified by Pre-TLC (eluent: Hexane/EtOAc=1/1) to give product (20 mg, 37%) as a white solid. 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6): δ 10.78 (s, 1H), 7.33-7.38 (m, 6H), 7.25 (s, 1H), 7.01 (d, J=8.0 Hz, 1H), 2.35 (s, 3H), 2.18 (s, 3H), 2.15 (s, 3H). MS (ESI) m/e [M+1]+ 363.
