The compound 5 was prepared according to the method described for compound 4 employing compound 1 (200 mg, 0.89 mmol) and benzylthiol (112 mg, 0.89 mmol) to give white solid compound 5 (284 mg, 91%). 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ 4.10 (s, 2H), 6.02 (d, J=15.1 Hz, 1H), 7.18 (d, J=8.3 Hz, 2H), 7.39 (m, 8H), 7.57 (t, J=5.9 Hz, 4H), 7.94 (d, J=15.1 Hz, 1H). HRMS ESI (m/z): Calculated for C22H18O2S ([M+H]+): 347.1028. found: 347.1101.
