A mixture of (5-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-(2,6-difluoro-3-(propylsulfonamido)benzoyl)-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-1-yl)methyl 2-((tert-butoxycarbonyl)(methyl)amino)acetate (0.33 g, 0.48 mmol) and a saturated solution of HCl in EtOAc (3 mL) was stirred at rt for 3 h. The mixture was filtered to afford the title compound as a white solid (168 mg, 56%). The title compound was characterized by LCMS and 1H NMR as shown below:
