The title compound was prepared from Intermediate 3, iodobenzene, and (6-formylnaphthalen-2-yl)boronic acid following General Procedure C. 1H NMR (DMSO-d6, 300 MHz): δ 10.05 (s, 1H), 8.47 (s, 1H), 8.13 (s, 1H), 7.97-7.69 (m, 5H), 7.48 (s, 1H), 7.29 (dd, 1H), 7.22-7.07 (m, 6H), 5.87 (dd, 1H), 3.94-3.83 (m, 1H), 3.80-3.68 (m, 1H), 2.59-2.35 (m, 3H), 2.09-1.95 (m, 2H), 1.85-1.68 (m, 1H), 1.65-1.52 (m, 2H), 0.91 (t, 3H). LCMS: 403 [(M-THP+H)+H]+.
