Reaction Steps
To a stirring solution of 2-(2-bromophenyl)acetic acid in dichloromethane (0.2 M) was added (3-aminophenyl) methan-1-ol (1.2 eq), triethylamine (1.5 eq), and EDAC (1.5 eq). After 2 hrs, the solution was washed with water, 10% HCl, 10% sodium carbonate, and water, dried over magnesium sulfate, filtered and concentrated in vacuo to afford a colorless solid. EI-MS m/z 320/322 (M+H)+
