The title compound was prepared from 3-benzyl-5-(3-chloro-phenyl)-3-methyl-1,3-dihydro-indol-2-one (100 mg) and Lawesson's reagent (120 mg) in toluene (10 ml) at reflux, according to General Procedure A, to afford the title compound (0.022 g) as an off white solid: mp. 168-170° C.; 1H NMR (CDCl3) δ9.23 (br s, 1H), 7.49 (s, 1H), 7.49-7.30 (m, 4H), 7.21 (s, 1H), 7.15-7.09 (m, 3H), 6.96-6.94 M, 2H), 6.89 (d, 1H, J=8.0 Hz), 3.19 (dd, 2H, J=40.5 and 13 Hz) and 1.57 (s, 3H); MS (EI m/z 363/365 [M]+.
