Reaction Steps
2-Chloro-4-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)benzoic acid was coupled with 4-(2-methoxyphenyl)-L-phenylalanine methyl ester (free amine from Example 1-3)) using a similar procedure as described in Example 2-1) to give N-[2-chloro-4-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)benzoyl]-4-(2-methoxyphenyl)-L-phenylalanine methyl ester (0.332 g).
