Procedure

Compound XXA was prepared from 2,6-dimethylphenol in a similar manner as described for compound 1B. 400 MHz 1H NMR (DMSO-d6) δ 8.96 (s, 1H), 7.22 (s, 2H), 2.13 (s, 6H).
