To a solution of 4-[4-(4-Chloro-phenyl)-3-oxo-5-pyridin-4-yl-pyrazolidin-1-yl]-piperidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester 0.42 gin ethanol 25 mL was added palladium on carbon 0.02 g. the reaction was heated to 50° C. for 48 hours. The reaction was cooled to room temperature, filtered and concentrated. Purification by flash chromatography gave the title compound as colorless oil. MS (ES+): 455 (M+H)+; (ES−): 453 (M−H).
