5-(3-Dimethylaminoprop-2-en-1-oyl)-1,2-dimethylimidazole (Method 1; 111 mg, 0.58 mmol) and 3-chlorophenylguanidine (97 mg, 0.58 mmol) were treated as described in Example 1 to give the title compound 51 mg, (29%) as a solid. NMR: 2.40 (s, 3H), 3.97 (s, 3H), 6.98 (d, 1H), 7.15 (d, 1H), 7.30 (t, 1H), 7.58 (d, 1H), 7.67 (s, 1H), 7.97 (s, 1H), 8.40 (d, 1H), 9.68 (s, 1H); m/z: 300.
