3-(Imidazol-1-yl)-7-nitro-4H-1,2,4-benzothiadiazine 1,1-dioxide imidazolium salt was treated with 1,2-dimethylpropylamine according to the general procedure Method B to give the title compound; m.p. 308-311° C.; IR (KBr): 3294, 3199, 3101, 2965, 1636, 1600, 1566, 1538, 1497, 1485, 1349, 1252, 1166, 1153, 1107 cm−1.
