Procedure

The 4-[2-(2-carboxyphenyl)benzoxy]benzaldehyde (93.7 mg, 0.28 mmol) was then coupled with rhodanine (37.5 mg, 0.28 mmol) as described supra to yield the title product (99.1 g, 79%).
