Reaction Steps
Following General Procedure A, ethyl 4-[(trimethylsilyl)ethynyl]benzoate (Compound 9, 0.51 g, 2.0 mmol) and 6-bromo-2,2,4,4-tetramethylchroman (0.57 g, 2.25 mmol) were coupled to give the title compound.
