Procedure
The title compound was synthesized as in Example 1 using p-anisidine (1.0 g, 7.1 mmol), CSI (0.85 mL, 9.8 mmol), and 3-amino-N-(3,4-difluoro-phenyl)-4-methoxy-benzamide (1.75 g, 6.3 mmol) to give 0.43 g of benzamide, N-(3,4-difluorophenyl)-4-methoxy-3-[[[[[(4-methoxyphenyl)amino]-carbonyl]amino]sulfonyl]amino]-. Microanalysis: C22H20F2N4O6S; calculated: C=52.17; H=3.98; N=11.06. found: C=52.17; H=3.89; N=10.95. Mp 189-192° C.
