Reaction Steps
A method according to claim 1 in which in said step (a) β-amino-propionitrile is reacted with methyl formate and carbon monoxide in the presence of sodium methylate at a temperature of 70°C to obtain α-sodioformyl-β-formylamino propionitrile.
