Reaction Steps
In an analogous manner to that described in Example 7, 1-{2-[4-(10,11-dihydro-3-methoxy-8-methylthio-dibenzo[b,f]thiepin-10-yl)-1-piperazinyl]-ethyl}-2-benzimidazolidnone (whose dihydrochloride melts at 250°C.) is prepared from 1-(10,11-dihydro-3-methoxy-8-methylthio-dibenzo[b,f]thiepin-10-yl)- piperazine and N-(2-chloroethyl)-2-benzimidazolidinone.
