Procedure

0.69 g (1.76 mmol) of the ester obtained in Example 31, in 15 ml of methanol, is treated with 1.58 g of sodium hydroxide. The reaction mixture is stirred at 40° C. for 2 h. After the same treatment as in Example 8, 462 mg (72%) of the expected derivative are isolated, which derivative melts at 175°-176° C.

Workup

  1. customAfter the same treatment as in Example 8, 462 mg (72%) of the expected derivative are isolated
