Reaction Steps

Substantially the same procedure as in Example 7 was repeated using 2.0 g (10.1 mmol) of 5,6-diamino-1,3-diethyluracil and 2.04 g (9.19 mmol) of 2,4-dimethoxy-3-methylcinnamic acid. Then, the resultant crude crystals were recrystallized from dioxane/water to give 1.22 g (yield 32%) of Compound 76 as a yellow powder.
