Substantially the same procedure as in Example 7 was repeated using 2.0 g (10.1 mmol) of 5,6-diamino-1,3-diethyluracil and 2.33 g (12.1 mmol) of 3,4-methylenedioxycinnamic acid. Then, the resultant crude crystals were recrystallized from dimethylformamide/water to give 1.34 g (yield 38%) of Compound 78 as a yellowish green powder.
