Product of stage (b) (0.3 g, 0.73 mmol) was dissolved in 20 ml of dioxan/880 ammonia/water (3:2:1) and left standing at room temperature for 18 hours. The solvent was evaporated and co-evaporated with ethanol and final recrystallisation of the residue from ethanol afforded 0.17 g of the title compound (82%) melting at 225°-227° C.
