Reaction Steps
A solution of 7.0 g of 2-cyclohexyl-4-phenoxy-6-isopropylaniline in 20 ml of dichloromethane is added dropwise, with efficient stirring, to 3.1 g of thiophosgene, 40 ml of dichloromethane, 20 ml of water and 5.0 g of ground calcium carbonate. The reaction mixture is stirred for 5 hours under reflux, then cooled and filtered over kieselguhr. The organic phase is separated, washed with water, dried over sodium sulfate and the solvent is removed under vacuum. The title compound of formula ##STR10## is obtained in the form of yellow crystals which melt at 58°-60° C.
