Crude product of stage b) (0.2 g, 0.5 mmol) was dissolved in 5 ml of Dioxan/880NH3 /H2O (3:2:1) and the mixture was left standing at room temperature for 16 hrs. It was then evaporated to dryness and the residue co-evaporated with ethanol. The resulting white solid was recrystallised from ethanol to give 0.04 g (30%) of pure product decomposing at 195°-200° C.
