2-Amino-1-(2-mercapto-2-methylpropylamino)benzene (0.36 g, 1.84×10-3 mol) and 0.58 g (3.67×10-3 mol, 200 M%) 2-(trans-2-butenylthio)-2-methylpropanal were reacted by the procedures in Example 2 to give 0.55 g (88% yield) 1-[2-(trans-2-Butenylthio)-2-methylpropylamino]-2-(2-mercapto-2-methylpropylamino)benzene as an oil after purification by radial chromatography on a 4 mm silica plate eluting with 100% hexane.
