Reaction Steps
To a stirred mixture of 5.4 g of 2-amino-N-methylbenzamide and 200 ml of ether was added dropwise, a solution of 6.67 g of 2-methylbenzoyl isothiocyanate in 100 ml of ether over 15 minutes. After several hours the solid was collected, giving 11 g of 2-methyl-N-[[[2-[(methylamino)carbonyl]phenyl]amino]thioxomethyl]benzamide
