The title compound was prepared in a manner similar to that described in Example 2A by using iso-propyl 1,2,3,6-tetrahydroazepino[4,5-b]indole-5-carboxylate (Example 3) and benzoyl chloride; 1H-NMR (CDCl3): δ 10.48 (1H, br s), 7.98 (1H, s), 7.47 (2H, m), 7.41 (2H, m), 7.40 (2H, m), 7.30 (1H, m), 7.15 (1H, m), 6.99 (1H, m), 5.04 (1H, m), 4.15 (2H, t), 3.2 (2H, d), 1.10 (6H, d); MS (ES): 375 (MH+).
