In a manner similar to the method described in Example 47a, racemic(2′R, 3R, 4′S)-6-chloro-4′-(3-chlorophenyl)-2′-[2-(4-hydroxycarbonyl-phenoxy)-5-iodo-phenyl]spiro[3H-indole-3,3′-piperidine]-2,6′(1H)-dione (0.4 g, 0.57 mmol) was reacted with EDCI (0.22 g, 1.14 mmol), HOBT (0.154 g, 1.14 mmol), diisopropylethylamine (0.29 g, 2.28 mmol), NH4Cl (60 mg, 1.14 mmol) in N,N-dimethylformamide to give racemic(2′R, 3R, 4′S)-2′-[2-(4-carbamoyl-phenoxy)-5-iodo-phenyl]-6-chloro-4′-(3-chlorophenyl)spiro[3H-indole-3,3′-piperidine]-2,6′(1H)-dione as a white solid (Yield 0.35 g, 88%)
