Reaction Steps
A solution of 1-{1-[1-(2-amino-ethyl)-6-chloro-1H-indole-3-carbonyl]-piperidin-4-yl}-1,3-dihydro-indol-2-one (1 eq) in dry CH2Cl2 was treated with acetyl chloride (1.1 eq) and triethylamine at RT for 15 h. Quenching with H2O and extraction into CH2Cl2 followed by concentration and purification by prep HPLC gave the title compound.
