Reaction Steps
A mixture of 2.5 g of the product of Step B and 30 ml of diphenylether was heated for 30 minutes in a bath at 250° C. The mixture was allowed to return to ambient temperature, separated and washed with pentane to obtain 1.82 g of the desired product.
