When equivalent amounts of 4,5,7-trimethoxy-1,3-diiminoisoindoline and 2-(3-ethylpyrrolidino)-4-imino-2-thiazoline hydrochloride are substituted for the 1,3-diiminoisoindoline and 2-piperidino-4-imino-2-thiazoline hydrochloride respectively, in the procedure described in Example 9, part C above, there is obtained as the product 1-imino-4,5,7-trimethoxy-3-[2-(3-ethylpyrrolidino)-4-imino-2-thiazolin-5-ylidene]isoindoline hydrochloride.
