Using the procedure of Example 2, 27.2 g of 2,8-bis-(trifluoromethyl)-4-hydroxy-3-quinoline-carboxylic acid chloride and 6.38 g of 3-amino-5-methyl-isoxazole were reacted to obtain 12.8 g of 2,8-bis-(trifluoromethyl)-4-hydroxy-N-(5-methyl-isoxazol-3-yl)-3-quinoline-carboxamide melting at 216° C.
