2-[(2-Aminoethyl)thiomethyl]thiazole was successively treated with carbon disulphide and methyl iodide according to the general procedure of Example 1(a)(b) to give S-methyl-N-[2-(2-thiazolylmethylthio)ethyl]dithiocarbamate hydriodide.
