Procedure

6 g. of 7-amino-5-diallylamino-2H-[1,2,4]oxadiazolo[2,3-a]-s-triazin-2-one are stirred at room temperature for 18 hours with 60 ml. of absolute pyridine and 8 ml. of acetic acid anhydride. The solvents are distilled off at 40° C. and the residue is dissolved in 220 ml. of methylene chloride. The solution obtained is washed with 1-N hydrochloric acid, dried over sodium sulfate and evaporated to dryness under reduced pressure. The residue is recrystallized from methylene chloride and diethyl ether, there being obtained N-{5-diallylamino-2-oxo-2H-[1,2,4]oxadiazolo[2,3-a]-s-triazin-7-yl}acetamide having a melting point of 164°-165° C.
