The title compound was prepared in a similar manner to that described in example 1 from of 8-hydroxy-1,6-naphthyridine-7-carbonitrile (50 mg, 0.29 mmol) and 2-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)acetic hydrazide (315 mg, 1.5 mmol) as a yellow solid (36 mg, 34%). 1H NMR (CDCl3): δ 9.19 (m, 1 H), 8.93 (s, 1 H), 8.32 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 1 H), 7.63 (m, 1 H), 6.98-6.95 (m, 2 H), 6.82 (d, J=8.0 Hz, 1 H), 4.19 (s, 2 H), 3.88 (s, 3 H), 3.85 (s, 3 H); MS m/z 364 (M+1).
