To a solution of (2R,5S)-1-(4-fluoro-benzyl)-2,5-dimethyl-piperazine (0.25 g, 1.12 mmol) in toluene (10 mL) was added 7-methyl-chroman-2-one (0.25 g, 1.54 mmol) and the resulting solution was heated to reflux for 48 hours. The reaction was cooled, concentrated in vacuo and purified via chromatography on silica gel to give the title compound (0.34 g).
