5-[3-(4-Chloromethyl-phenoxy)-prop-1-ynyl]-4-cyclohexylamino-pyrimidine-2-carbonitrile (0.050 mmol) is dissolved in CH2Cl2 (2 ml) and 1-methyl-piperazine (0.10 mmol) is added at room temperature and the mixture is stirred at room temperature for overnight. Water is added and the organic layer is washed with brine, dried over magnesium sulfate and concentrated. The crude product is purified by silica gel column chromatography to give the product in 40% yield.
