3.75 g of 2,6-difluorobenzoyl isocyanate are added dropwise at room temperature, with stirring, to 5 g of 2,4-difluoro-3-chloro-5-bromoaniline dissolved in 50 ml of dry toluene, and the mixture is stirred for a further 5 hours. Approximately 75% of the solvent is then removed in a rotary evaporator. The residue is diluted with hexane and the resulting precipitate is filtered off with suction, washed with hexane and dried in vacuo. The title compound of formula ##STR14## is obtained in the form of colourless crystals; m.p. 225°-227° C.
