Procedure

Following General Procedure D, ethyl 4-(5-isopropyl-3,8,8-trimethyl-7,8-dihydronaphthalen-2-ylamino)benzoate (Compound 48, 0.10 g, 0.26 mmol) was reacted with propionaldehyde (0.20 mL, 2.6 mmol) to give 0.070 g (68%) of the title compound as a clear oil.
