Following General Procedure A 7-bromo-6-methoxy-4,4-dimethyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-naphthanlen-1-one (Compound 92,1.0 g, 3.5 mmol) was reacted with MeMgBr to give 0.93 g (94%) of the title compound as a yellow solid.
