Procedure
To a solution of the title compound from Step D (31 mg, 0.072 mmol) was dissolved in ethyl acetate/methanol (1 ml/1 ml) and placed in a hydrogenation bottle with 10% palladium on carbon (90 mg). The mixture was placed on Parr shaker for two hours under 50 p.s.i. of hydrogen, then filtered through diatomaceous earth, and the filter cake was washed with ethyl acetate/methanol. The combined filtrate was concentrated to give the title compound (26 mg) as a clear, viscous oil that was used in the next step without purification. MS (APCl−) Calc: 439.0, Found: 438.1 (M−1).
