A solution containing the product from Example 46A (5.74 g, 20.0 mmol) in dichloromethane (40 mL) at 0° C. was treated with chlorosulfonyl isocyanate (2.26 mL, 26.0 mmol) and the mixture was stirred at 0° C. for 2 hours. Water (40 mL) was added to the cold reaction and the mixture was warmed to 25° C. and stirred for 2 hours. The reaction mixture was partitioned between dichloromethane and water, and the organic phase was washed with brine and dried over MgSO4, filtered and concentrated to give the title compound, which was used without further purification.
