The title compound is prepared by following General Method A, using 3-phenoxy-benzoic acid (0.22 g, 1.04 mmol), and N*2*-(2-dimethylamino-ethyl)-N*2*-methyl-benzothiazole-2,6-diamine (0.20 g, 0.80 mmol) to afford an off-white solid (0.19 g, 53%). LC/MS: Retention time=4.45 nm in; (m/z): calcd for C25H2(N4O2S (M+H)+: 447.6; found: 447.3.
