2-(4-Butylamino-phenyl)-1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-propan-2-ol and dimethylthio-carbamoyl chloride are mixed together in a sealed vial and heated at 150° C. for 10 min in a microwave. The reaction mixture is dissolved in dichloromethane and purified over preparative TLC (Acetonitrile: CH2Cl2=2:98) to give the title compound. 1HNMR (CD3OD) δ 0.95(t, 3H), 1.38(m, 2H), 1.65(m, 2H), 2.99 (s, 6H), 4.05(t, 2H), 4.90(s, 1H), 7.04(d, 2H), and 7.68(d, 2H); ESIMS m/z 401(M−H).
