Reaction Steps
The title compound was prepared in 33% yield as colorless crystals using methyl-phenyl-carbamic acid 4-hydroxymethyl-phenyl ester and 4-hydroxypyridine. 1H NMR (400 MHz; CDCl3): δ 3.43 (br s, 3H), 4.92 (s, 2H), 6.43 (d, 2H), 7.17 (br s, 4H), 7.22-7.42 (m, 9H); HPLC-MS: m/z=335.0 (M+1); Rt=2.55 min.
