Using the same protocol as described in example 17, step 3, 2-[(4-bromophenyl)(1,3-thiazol-2-yl)methoxy]-4-methylpentanoic acid potassium salt from step 3 (427 mg, 1.11 mmol) was coupled with aminoacetonitrile HCl Salt. The crude residue obtained was chromatographed on silica gel using 50% ethyl acetate in hexanes to afford the title compound.
