[1-(4′-{4-[(E)-4-(4-Benzyl-phenyl)-1-hydroxy-but-3-enyl]-3-methyl-isoxazol-5-yl}-biphenyl-4-yl)-cyclopropyl]-acetic acid ethyl ester (0.203 g, 0.340 mmol) was dissolved in EtOH and palladium on carbon (0.020 g, 10% wt., wet: 50% w/w H2O) was added. The reaction was stirred under H2 (g) atmosphere overnight then filtered through Celite to afford the title compound in EtOH solution, which was brought to the next step without further purification.
