1-[4′-(4-Amino-3-methyl-isoxazol-5-yl)-biphenyl-4-yl]-cyclopropanecarboxylic acid ethyl ester (0.250 g, 0.689 mmol), 2-bromo-6-phenyl-pyridine (0.1457 g, 0.62 mmol), cesium carbonate (0.2694 g, 0.826 mmol) and (±)-2,2′-bis(diphenylphosphino)-1,1′-binaphthyl (0.032 g, 0.052 mmol) were dissolved in toluene (3 mL) and the solution was degassed with bubbling N2 (g). Tris(dibenzylideneacetone)dipalladium(0) (0.0158 g, 0.017 mmol) was added and the reaction was heated to 110° C. for 24 hours. After cooling the reaction was submitted to standard aqueous workup and silica gel chromatography to afford the title compound.
