Procedure

To a solution of Example 33 (115 mg, 0.4 mmol) and sodium carbonate (72 mg, 0.68 mmol) in dimethyl sulfoxide (0.5 mL) was added 2,5-dichloropyridine (95 mg, 0.64 mmol). The mixture was stirred at 100° C. for 2 days. The residue was purified by chromatography on silica gel (ethyl acetate/methanol=15:1) to give the title compound. 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ ppm 1.50 (m, 1H), 2.00-2.15 (m, 2H), 2.30-2.40 (m, 2H), 2.60 (m, 1H), 2.88-3.00 (m, 3H), 4.20-4.40 (m, 3H), 6.89 (d, 1H, J=7 Hz), 6.98 (m, 1H), 7.58 (d, 1H, J=7 Hz), 8.04 (m, 1H), 8.06 (s, 1H), 8.60 (m, 1H); MS (ESI) m/z 399 (M+H)+.
